Wind Turbine robot – a unique repair solution for leading edges on turbine blades. Using an automatic BR-8 robot to do repair and maintenance work in the heights that uses geopositioning to figure out possible trajectories for the repair arm. To make the robot latch without human input, we taught it how to measure the distance between itself and the edge of the turbine blade. Classic computer vision methods helped to achieve a near-perfect distance prediction; the little deviation has no impact on BR-8’s work and is not a source of danger for the robot. CV also enables BR-8 to measure the angle between the robot and the blade edge, so manual repositioning of blades is not required for repairs.would have to handle this by itself, too.

A software and hardware complex that detects and recognizes landmines from visual streams of drones and robots, thermal imagers, ground penetrating radars, aimed to build an interactive map of landmines positions on the particular territory. Based on visual feedback from the onboard camera, algorithms for landmine detection are applied. Technology covers also the design, implementation and integration of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) using software-defined radio (SDR) platform into the aerial drone.
